"Willing To Use Our Gifts"

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in it's various forms.God will always give you the grace to do what He calls you to do.

We must not feel bad about ourselves if we are not able to do what someone else is anointed to do. God anoints each one of us to contribute to the body of Christ in some unique way. What God enables us to do is no more or less important than what He has called someone else to do. God made each of us different from everyone else to fulfil the desires of His heart, and He promises to fulfil the desires of our heart as well. (Psalm 37:4). He will anoint whatever He's given us, so we must place our gifts in His power today, and enjoy ourselves.

2 Timothy 1:6, encourages us to recognize our calling, "That is why I remind you to stir up, (rekindle the embers of, fan into flame of, and keep burning) the gracious gift of God, the inner fire that is in you." If we are called to do something, we will get stirred up in the presence of someone operating in that same anointing. For example, if we have anointing to lead worship, or to special music, we will probally get more excited about the music than the sermon being preached. When in doubt we should ask God to make our calling clear.

The Lord wants us to finish whatever he calls us to do, even if it requires patience, perseverance and hard work. God wants us to grow roots and learn to endure until the fruit of His presence is manifested. We must be willing yo endure patiently to see God's plan take place in our life. If God has given us a vision of something He wants us to accomplish, we must keep doing whatever He has given us to do even when the excitement for the work is over, and all the goose bumps are gone. If you don't have a vision, ask God to show you something you need to do, and commit your work to the Lord until it is completed. Jesus work was to do the will of Him who sent Him, and to accomplish and completely finish His work.

We must learn to appreciate the call of God on our life. He has a different call for everybody. None of us are called to do all the work that needs to be done, but we can each enjoy the assignments we are given. We can aldo enjoy the work God done through others. Today holds an opportunity to mature in the knowledge of God, to enjoy whatever God has called you to do today. Your part is needed. Ask God early in the day to show you where to use your gifts to help others.

We must also learn to move forward. God will anoint us to do what He calls us to do, but when His anointing is gone we must let it go. You must get rid of the thing that God's anointing was on at one time, but not anymore. We shouldn't keep doing the same thing just because people expect us to. We need to prune off activities that fill our day but don't add to our life. We should ask God for wisdom, then walk away from the tasks He no longer is asking us to do. We need to make room for new life to flourish through the work of our hands.

A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great.

Proverbs 18:16

To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability.

Matthew 25:15

Always search for god's small surprises while you are waiting for His big solution.

Always thank God for the gifts and abilities He has given you. Ask him to help you to use them.

What better words to hear than "well done thou good and faithful servant".

In the light of God's love,

He will help you to keep your focus

on the good gifts He has given you.

He will help you to make the most of them,

As He strengthens you by His Holy Spirit.
