"My Shepherd"

I want to rest in green pastures, and walk beside still waters, have my cup running over with blessings from God. For He is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He comforts me daily, with His staff and His rod.

Though I walk in the midst of trials and pain, I know He'll restore me, one day again. He'll anoint my head with oil, spread a table before me. His goodness and mercy will follow me all the while.

Though I walk through the valley, of the shadow of death, I'll not fear, for He is with me, He's never failed me yet. He'll give me a new song each morning and night. His presence will go before me and everything will be all right.

I met the Lord on day in the place of gentle stillness.

Now I am resting in His Love.

I'm feasting on the bread of life, drinking living water.

And I'm drawing from the well that never runs dry.
